Elle Of All Her Flowers On Family

What is your name? Who’s a part of your everyday life?

My name is Elle and my husband, Luke, and I have been blessed with three girls. Audrey, Harriet and Magnolia. Last year we welcomed our beautiful Groodle, Molly and now our family is complete.

What are your favorite autumn activities with your family?

We live across the road from the beach so we love to explore it during all seasons. In Autumn we add a few extra layers and often take a thermos.

Your home is so beautiful! Tell us a little bit about what’s inspired the style?

Thank you! That is so kind. Our house was built in 1920 so it is over 100 years old and we have taken care to inject our own style while honouring the original space. With every room I renovate I always consider who will use the room and how we want it to feel. Comfort and personality will always be more important than just following current trends for me.

Why did you swap dirt roads for your sandy, salty cottage?

The long and windy dirt roads of the Scenic Rim will always be home in my heart but as our family grew so did our desire to be closer to family. Luke was born and bred in Bellingen NSW and his family still live in the area. We have settled in a beautiful sleepy coastal town not far from them and have truly fallen in love with living by the beach.

What’s your favourite Fabrik piece?

Oh that’s way too hard!! I love all my Fabrik pieces and they have become a staple in my wardrobe. If I could only chose one I think it would have to be my black linen overalls, they saw me through pre pregnancy, pregnancy and postpartum.

Coming in a very close second is my T-shirt smock dress, I wear that piece at least once a week and can layer it up for the colder months.
